We are happy to announce the launch of our blog: On the Boardwalk. Beach Camera is a family-owned and operated business located in Edison, New Jersey. We specialize in electronics with an emphasis on the devices that give our company its name: cameras! Beach Camera has its roots in Old Orchard Beach, Maine where we started as a specialty shop for tourists coming up to the beach. In time, we moved online. We have won the BizRate Circle of Excellence award for several years for providing great gear at low prices with high-quality customer support. Beach Camera has always been at the forefront of new technologies -- whether using them or selling them. We were one of the first online stores to open its virtual doors in 1996 and one of the first to transition to entirely online sales via a shopping cart in 1998.
